With no protective gear at the moment, I've been looking for some cheap (I mean 2nd hand) leathers. I dont know why, but I've always preferred the look, style and feel of a one piece, and OMG, are there some strange or unorthodox colour combos out there Thinking Confused .

If you buy a brightly coloured set of leathers or textiles for that matter, do you try and match it with the lid, boots and gloves.

Going one stage further, do you try and match the leathers to the bike?

I once had a grey/silver and red one piece with yellow gloves and rode the dark green ZXR Laughing This was a little better than the yellow / black one piece before Wink

Have you had or seen some serious crimes against fashion and common sense?

Is tucking the trouser legs in or out consitute a faux pas?

Leather and textiles worn at the same time?

Open face helmets on a sports bike?

DPM trousers and bomber jackets? Laughing

Lets be having them then, you never know they may do a Trinnie and Suzanna motorcyclist special Wink

Leather trousers with a textile jacket.

Open face helmet on a Ducati Monster.

Black/red leathers, textiles, boots, gloves on a black/red bike, but a silver helmet.

The ultimate biking faux pas: hi viz BikeSafe vest.

Pink lipstick on a bright red bike. Embarassed

Wotcha.

It's a motorcycle, not a bleedin' fashion accessory Wink

You really don't want to see *anything * that matches my bike.

My leather jacket has red stripes on the shoulder and other little red bits, as do my gloves, its a coincidence that my bandit is also red, but the ensemble works Smile

I wear Red/White/Black lid, red/black gloves, red/white/black textile jacket. Black/white leather pants.

On a turquoise naked bike :S Is that bad?

Funny to hear about people wearing leather jackets with textile pants.

Hein Gericke have developed a COMPLETEY (like textile) waterproof leather jacket and the staff were telling me its piss funny because no one wears textiles trousers with a leather jacket (They havent released waterproof leather trousers)

I wear blue/black textile jacket with black leather trouser in winter,

yellow textile jacket with black leather trousers in summer / 2piece suit.

there is o way I'd wear leathers to match the lilac/red/silver/black of the GPZ Shocked

I tuk my jeans into my boot other wise they get all salty, wet and ug, then when you're not paying attention in lectures the water creeps up the jeans.. jeans dry and you smell like salted roadkill... hence the jeans in the boots..
