Where you from mate?

You will need a
lid (as long as its gold stickered its good)
armoured jacket
armoured pants
gloves
boots
poss a neck warmer as its cold now!

As long as the armour is CE approved your good to go with pants and jackets etc

Hein Gericke is good should be one not too far from you. Depending on your size small normally = cheaper and more readily available.

Shop wise, Millennium in St Helens are good if your buying all the stuff as they will normally offer a discount, ie i bought al my gear from there and ended up with a fair few quid of everything and my gloves thrown in for free (worth £45) speak with Angie she is ace Thumbs Up

There is Wood in Abergele in North Wales again nice shop fair few bikes to look at and they can normally order stuff with in a day and it be there the next day.

Also Colywn Bay motorcycles mainly a Frank Thomas shop but some good stuff there.

These are all shops near (ish) me as I dunno where your from yet I can really say much more.

Good luck on your CBT mate Thumbs Up

Hiya,

Not from Birmingham so can't advise on good shops. However I would advise that you DO go to a shop, rather than buy online.

Lids vary a lot in shape, we all have different shaped heads so you HAVE to try them on (for your first one, anyhow)!!

Worth being able to try other gear on too, especially if you choose leathers as they have to fit properly. A good shop will let you try lots on and advise you.

Gloves and boots you could buy online, if you know which you want.

Good luck & happy shopping!! Thumbs Up Very Happy
