Hi all, just thinking about buying some Dark visors for my Shoei. Have looked on the internet and have a question I was hoping you could answer,

The actual shoei visors say Dark tinted, what I want is like the really dark ones, will the shoei own brand dark tinted (darker than the legal shoei tinted one, and does say illegal) actually be that dark (appear black from outside), or do I need to buy another brand made for shoei visors i.e TT to get the really dark ones. Cool

Was about £20 on ebay last year, it's the darkest one. See fine in the daylight but i tend to keep it up at night.

Can I just check, are the black ones you buying and bought of ebay the actual shoei visors (made by shoei), or replicas made to fit shoei lids?

Your one of e-bay is the darkness I'm after, looks cool man Thumbs Up . Have been tempted myself to buy an all black lid too, maybe next year!! just bought the joust x1000

Any idea if bob heath visors (@ www.racevisors.co.uk) are any good (anti fog, scratch resistant...)? I want the replace the clear visor on my Caberg Justissimo and the bob heath one is a tad cheaper than a Caberg original.

my only concern was if the shoei one was dark enough, as it appears so I would prefer to spend a couple of quid extra and go for the real deal.

If there's only a few quid in it, reckon you should go for original caberg, less doubts then I reckon.

With something like visors ALWAYS go genuine.

Get the "race" black one. That's the darkest tint and will stop the sun blinding you. The legal tint ones are a bit limp wristed on the sun blocking front to be honest.
