Arrgh, just tried to go out on my lunch and the bike won't start Sad

When you thumb the starter instead of the clicking of spark plugs all you can hear is a loud "zzzzzzzzzzzzz" sound Sad It had new spark plugs two weeks ago and a new carbon fibre end can last week.

I've got breakdown guys coming to have a look in the next hour but any suggestions as to what it could be?

Glen

Errr, may be saying the obvious but someone hasn't hit your kill switch have they?

Always best to check the simple stuff first.
Hope you get it started.

No checked that first the buzzing has stopped now, I think I might have pressed it too many times. I wonder if the battery has given up in the cold weather :S

I'd left the bike in gear when I was in a rush to get into work this morning so when I tried starting it at lunch it wouldn't turn over..

I felt like a proper wally when the breakdown guy came out Embarassed ah well he just laughed and said "it's our little secret" and put down flat battery on the service form Wink

Oh well, I won't be doing that again in a hurry Laughing
