Hi,

Im working on an RS50 project bike to make some cash and im havind a few problems with the clutch.

When i first got it the plates were sticking, so i replaced them with the springs, cleaned off the minimal amount of surface rust on the metal ones, then adjusted the clutch.

All seemed to work fine after that, but after a few weeks without use they have stuck again. Im not sure if ive adjusted the main clutch adjustment nut properly as im used to a heavier clutch. Could this explain the problem?

Adjustment is likely to be the problem but did you steep the plates in oil
over night before you put them in.

Make sure you used the right oil in the gearbox and that it is up to the
right level.
