This was on the radio news just now. Police are appealing for witnesses.


Two boys 15years old had been throwing stones at cars.

A motorist chased them, and whacked one of them with a spanner, and walked off.

The victim has a "badly bruised eye". Good!

this morning i was out on the drive clearing snow, and theres a bunch of about 15 kids ( ages 10-17 at a guess) throwing snowballs at cars, and when the cars stopped and then got going again, spinning up, the kids are trying to push the cars sideways into the parked cars. i reported them to the police, but they buggered off back to their own road round the corner when the PCSO's arrived.

now, my van was parked on the road, and theres another van parked on the other side, and the gap is a bit tight at the best of times, so i decided to move it onto the drive. moved the car off ok, got the van going and its spinning up, so i go round the block rather than try to turn round, come back cant get it on the drive so i go to the bottom of the road where there is space to do a full turn and manage to get stuck. then the pushing and snowballs start. i do my best to ignore it and laugh it off, ask them to behave etc, they say they are "helping" but they are just pissing me about. after a bit of to-ing and fro-ing i get it moving only to get stuck again and get more snowballs etc.

im doing my best to stay calm, but its beginning to get out of hand, a couple of the younger ones step up close with snowballs right in my face, dispite being warned. they both end up on their faces in the snow. i think they slipped.......

i lock the van up and walk away.

1/2 hour later the i go back with some old carpet to put under the wheels. this time ive got the kids with me and their mum is here too.

then it starts again and gets worse....and i kinda lose my temper

i manage to get it back up the road and get stuck again on the ramp, where we are faced down by about 20 kids, two of the mothers have turned up to watch i go and ask them to make their kids behave...." theyre just playing!!" is the response

wendy calls the police....

i get it on the drive and get pelted, tell them to fuck off, little 10yo shit walks up and takes a swing at me , which i stop and push down him to the floor with his own momentum.


16 yo starts arguing with me over that, wendy is videoing it all on her phone, little shit steps up to her and smacks it out of her hand, so she grabs him and says "im having you here for assault", he smacks her in the face splitting the bridge of her nose with her glasses, she pushes him down to the ground and gets jumped by three of the older girls (shes only 5 foot 1 and they are bigger & taller), i scan around quick and its all kicking off, three of the older boys have pulled their hoods up and are coming for me. i grab the phone off the floor and dive in and get two of the girls off wendy who is now on the floor, then i get jumped.

the rest is a bit of a blur, i had one on my back and was getting hit in the ribs by the other two, but somehow i got free and got wendy free also. the mothers get involved and it becomes a war of words.

i reckon there was at least a dozen of them having a pop, but when the mums pile in they all scattered.

police turn up, 3 cars, take statements, interupting mother gets told to behave like an adult, set an example and stop behaving like a child


kids and parents warned to stay away from me and my van. hopefully they will stay in their own road, trouble is its like everywhere, they dont pick on their own, they go to the next street and cause trouble there:evil:

its all gone quiet now.


the damage? ive got a dent in the rear of the van where it was "helped" into the drive wall, a broken mirror where a snowball packed with stones hit it, wendy has a cut on her nose and three fingernail cuts on her neck.

i think i'll be sleeping in the van tonight with a pick axe handle. maybe i'll get lucky and a couple of the older ones will turn up. i'll have em, tie them to a tree in the woods and leave them there

Thinking back to the original post, any clue as to the type of spanner used? That headline conjures images of a huge, heavy spanner, but maybe it was an 8mm ring spanner? We need to know.

the kid who hit her has a big gash in the side of his head where he hit the kerb. im gonna take the bull by the horns and go talk to both the parents later. still, it was they who got the ticking off by the police, just as it should be. wendy is a teacher, if they decided it was assault on a minor it would be the end of her career.

the street where i live is like any other, a bunch of 1930's semi's and terraced houses. most of the time its very quiet, theres one of the best primary schools in the borough at the top end of the road. its just theres a couple of whitetrash families in the two adjoining roads, and their scummy kids (and hangers on) tend to hang out on our green.

i think this country has gone soft. kids know their "rights" and think they can get away with anything, especially if their pikey parents back them up all the time. if they go to prison, dont give them a TV and a gym, put them to (hard) work, train them in something socially useful.

a no-nonsense approach is needed. if my kid was to do that to someone, i wouldnt be suprised if the person detained them and dragged the round to me to discuss it. infact i'd expect it. if it turned out the boy was at fault, i'd punish him. if he came home crying saying he had got a clip round the ear from some bloke for throwing snowballs at his car after he was told to stop, id take him round there and make him wash the car. i suspect this *might* be the reason he dosent behave in an antisocial way, ever.
