I've not been a member that long, and i don't know about you guys + gals, but it seems that every thread i read has a fantastically helpful post from Kickstart Keith, It's an amazing service you're giving us, cheers!

If anything along these lines has been posted before, my apologies.

Hats off to Keith though, Hope you have many more years of safe riding and advisory skills to come!

Have a fine ale on me!

keith is also famous having appeared in bike magazines at least twice. Once for having the fastest bandit 1200 which he uses on top speed runs on drag strips.

Another time for having a large collection of bikes (about 30 i think)

The legend goes that Keith actually help design and build the '98 R1.

Keith was the only man on earth to dare to tell Mr T that his 'Be Good To Your Mother' rap was the worst tune ever recorded........ Mr T broke down and cried like a little girl. Cool

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

I think I saw a video on youtube once with Keith kicking Kimbo's ass.
One handed too if I remember rightfully.

Also spotted him walking on water one weekend. He tried to give me a few pointers but his voice was too pure and I couldn't hear it.

The scene from Bill and Teds Excelent Adventure, where they beat Death in a game of chess was actully inspired by an episode Keith had, only they joked it up as the truth would frighten the kids in the audience...

Pfft - It's all Bollox. Taken fron the BCF Top Ten...

5. Kickstart

The Mod that you don’t want to upset, beneath Keith’s affluent persona lurks an animal of a man, more beast than person. His hands are dirtier than Fred Dibnah’s and his mind is even worse. Keith is a serial Bike fetishist and thinks nothing of taking the Bandit out to dinner while his missus baby-sits the Mini Twins. His oft used tag line is a two finger salute to us all, ‘All the Best’ which if repeated backwards over and over translates to ‘Balls to You’.

Probably chocolate liquors. You weren't old enough to eat them. Razz Razz

Keith is an invaluable part of this forum and no doubt others and comes across as a genuinely nice, helpful, knowledgeable bloke even though our paths have never crossed. Thumbs Up

I took the litre class closer to a true racing motorcycle.
I was the first production motorcycle built by any manufacturer to mate an actual litre inline-4 cylinder engine to a 600 cc size chassis
