I just read in this months 'Ride' magazine that the couple running Crowtree are intending to finish trading this year. Apparently they have said it for the last couple of years but this time they are making in stick.

Does anyone know any more about this? Like if maybe there will be people taking over the running of things?

I'm really dissapointed as I was really hoping to be able to afford a set in a year or two. I liked their traditional and quality thing they have going on, plus they are local to me.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

I've seen this on a few forums recently, apparently they are taking their last orders in March and finishing around the end of June. Sadly.

if this is the case i reckon they would be mad to do so, with a name and brand reputation such as theirs

they have become legendary in the UK bike scene, particularly well known over the last 5 years or so, almost a licence to print money, and i bet they are never short of orders

It has got a page spread in this months magazine. Mine gets delivered so I suspect it will be a few days before it hits the shops.
