Nothing at all, it's a crock of shit invented by unscrupulous manufacturers of soppy cards and pink stuff.

I don't need one special day a year to tell my fella that I love him, I can tell him anytime. And I don't need to hear it once a year from him because it's Valentines day either, I'd rather he told me he loves me whenever he feels like it (which he does)!

It makes single people feel lonely and inadequate and encourages couples to think that they need to spend lots of money and make a public display of affection to impress their peers.
