I have a 50cc Honda X8R-S, was left outside whilst was snowing, i came out, started first time no problems, then i pulled the throttle back a little bit to try and relieve the auto-choke, and the bike cutout and hasn't started since.

We ended up draining the battery whilst trying to start it, so we took it out and put it on charge, but to no avail it still doesn't work.

The kickstart isn't working either, and i am really confused now.

The plug when we took it out was a black colour, which we cleaned off and put back in, still doesn't work.

Anyone have any ideas? It sounds like its trying to start, but it can't quite manage it.

Cheers guys,

Perry

Put a new plug in it, make sure the battery is charged up to max (better still try to jump start it off a car battery) and try again.

Its sounds like the air filter may have been blocked, just take it out and check it, making sure its dry, the snow might of got the filter wet which would stop it working.
