Hey, i just sighned up to this site :D , you might be able to work out from my quite silly avatar that i have a 1972 Honda cb125s, has anyone else on this forum got this bike? or ever owned one, or am i alone?.. just wondering!

I don't know, it seems like you're having a conversation with yourself. I'm sure your not, it just seems that way...

I have often thought about doing this on a boring Friday afternoon, sit at my desk, nothing to do... Rolling Eyes

(I ran out of petrol on the edinburgh by-pass yesterday, I didn't think it merited its own thread so thought I add it here in brackets.)

Wavygravy has a '75 cb125s (and possibly a number in kit form under the stairs still). There's not a lot he doesn't know about them.

hi mate - i had a '74 cb125 when i was 18. it had cutdown exhausts and a few 'home made' bits and pieces. i loved it!

Even though It would be a funny idea, we are in fact not the same person Wink .

MW_uk is my mate. I got him to sign up to the forum Thumbs Up and we happen to have the same name. The pic of his CB also happens to have been takin in my garden Laughing .

I've got a 1985 CB125, not quite as old as yours.
Bloody good bike, and very nippy for a 4Stroke 125. Mine will do about 78 flat out.

I wish mine did 78!!, my engines rattley and worn, in fact i think its in need of a bit of a restoration, but since its my only transport ive been too scared to take it apart!
