Yep,

Could'nt agree more,

My cousin started all this born again biking for me, years ago he
had a Norton 600 and is always on about it! The origional Idea was
for me to get some training in, and for us to buy a bike between us
for fun at the weekends.

I found the only way I could gain the self confidence after my training
and CBT, was to by a small bike, run it around for a few months
then do the Test.

My cousin who has a Full Licence has promised to do a "Back to biking course" but we will have to see what happens, I think he feels that the modern bikes might be a bit to much for him, it's just a matter of
getting his confidence back.

Keep smilling

Hi
Aparently my dad said the you used to be able to just jump onto a 250 without takin a test or anything, i think they should bring back that rule, that way all the bad riders crash and dont ride with the good ones. Embarassed yeah right. I think that the time spent on a restricted full licence should go from 2 to 1 years

If everyone had to ride a 33bhp bike befoe jumping onto a bigger bike then there would be a lot less bike accidents

...and of course, being responsible people, they wouldn't take out the restrictors immediately...sorry mate, that's a fair point, but from what I have gathered, most people just get a bigger bike "restricted", and well, you know the rest...
