Kawasaki GT550 battery sensor

On my GT550 the battery status inducator keeps flashing which l guess is due to the battery sensor being cut off in the past, l,ve fitted a new battery to the bike and found the old senor laying in the tool tray which l,ve connected to a pink cable on the right hand side of the bike (only one l could find that was not connected to anything) and plugged it into the far right cell of the battrey but the battery status inducator is still flashing.

Was this pink cable the right one or have l done something else wrong?

What do you mean by "battery sensor"? Any photo's?

Its alright l found the answer on another fourm, the senor measured the eletrolit level in the battery and is the pink wire.

The GT550 has an integrated battery votage checker in the dash for hose who dont know
