Well, playing with the idea of getting a stage one kit for my thundercat, and im just wondering if anyone on here has done it themselves, ive seen them dotted around the interweb and just wonderd if anyones had any problems? tips? did you gain much in the way of power, and what was your fuel economy like after doing it.

Also what bike was it.

many thanks, Steve.

Very easy to fit the kit itself, unless you are some kind of mechanical guru then I'd definitely advise getting it set up on a rolling road though. Fitted a few over the years (stages 1 and 3) and the fine tuning just isn't there when doing it by ear.

Also look out for the kits on Ebay, nine times in ten anything that sells for less than the RRP is a knockoff, and they're not worth buying. More likely to simply blow the motor by screwing up the fueling than anything else.

What are the kits and what do they do? Anyone know where I can find one for an NC23?

Some info on fake kits.
