I don't know what it's about, but it's on any minute now after the snooker!

I couldn't see another thread here about it within the last day so I'm making one.

Thumbs Up

That rocket was totally awesome. Has to have been some sort of a record for the UK. I bet the guys that did it are rightly pleased with themselves because it flew damned near perfect. Just let down by a single exploding bolt.

When you consider it was the first attempt at the design and built in what was essentially a shed it was nothing short of remarkable.

Look at how many foul-ups the Americans made trying to build the Saturn V for example. I think the first 15 or so did a self-destruct in the test rig. They had the full backing of the American government and a hundreds of scientists and engineers working on it.

Didn't think the show was all that great until the rocket got off the air, was amazed. The engineering must have been spot on to get it so right.

The rocket was simply amazing. I was half expecting it to explode on the launch pad!

Good show, BUT why does jezza try to be extra and feels he has to chainsaw the new ducati in the cool or not cool board.

The hampster obviously likes bikes, and jezza is obviously getting very old.

I can't stand Top Gear anymore, it's like the tv version of Zoo magazine.

But i do love how Clarkson deliberately winds up bikers and they always bite.

Only people who can't take a joke. Wouldn't be very entertaining if they sat on that sofa agreeing with each other for an hour. The bickering is the best bit.

repeat should be 7pm on tuesday (i think - cant find my copy of the radio times at the moment) on bbc2.

Hammond flying the radio controlled plane into the window of the porta-cabin almost made me fall outta my armchair - too funny... Laughing Laughing Laughing

Shame about the rocket - all looked good for the first few seconds.....must have cost them loads to build it though.

Goat. Wink

It was okay, nothing great this week.

That Brabus Mercedes was very nice as was the Porche 911 Turbo.

Still waiting for them to get the Stig in a Veyron around the track - I'd love to know what it'll do around there.

The Brabus mercedes was very very nice and sounded awesome but a bit of a beast to handle by the look of it. Great for the traffic light GP tho Very Happy (then straight back to the shop for some new back tyres Laughing Laughing ).

I would suggest you stop watching top gear in the future, you're likely to be shocked and opffended quite often and will be forced to call the bbc many times to voice your opinion on how degrading the show is towards bikers. Only other person on here who did that was Craig, the woman. Laughing

There's no tit on TV at all...pathetic.

Anyway, i liked Top Gear, the Merc was totally pointless.
Waste of materials in my opinion.

Thought this week's Top Gear was good, just not sure about this film plugging they've taken to doing when having a guest on. There is a time and a place for that (Friday night with Jonathon Ross??) not in the middle of Top Gear Thumbs Down (And yes before anyone starts arguing I know Hot Fuzz is very funny Thumbs Up )

the rocket was amazing!!! i so badly wanted it to separate...the boffins all screaming with the successful launch and first explosion bolts, then their faces fell...very funny though.
when i saw clarkson cutting up the ducati, i just thought to myself, "hmm...that's not going to be on BCF later with one or two muppets whining about it..." Rolling Eyes
i thought it were funny
