Clean shaven, well dressed, arrive early, and be polite to everyone.

The rest is up to the gods........

It's pretty much self explanatory.

Go in, sign in at the front door and ask what court room to go to (or wait outside rather). You all get called in as a group and sit down. Then case by case is brought forward. Once it's you, your name will be called, just go up to the bench but remain standing until told to sit down. There can be a LOT of cases in the same court room, perhaps up to 20 or 30 and it can take a friggin' long time. You're asked questions by the 'big guy' so you'll be prompted for your side of the story if the big guy wants to hear it.

If you're really unlucky, your case will go first and you won't have a clue where to stand. It's easy having watched a number of cases beforehand because you see what to do and where to go. Laughing

That is how I found it anyway.

You should have a brief meeting with your solicitor and barrister before you go in and they will tell you what the procedures are...If not, then just don't do anything unless the magistrate/solicitor/barrister addresses you!

They do make it easier if they can see your not a scum bag.

I thought the worst bit was waiting in the room before the court room, full with kids whove probably robbed grannies for weed.

Good luck, I had to go with my mate to court, just to drive him home if he got banned. (This was in Dewsbury) about 20 miles away.

He hired a good solicitor and got off with 6 points. 59mph in a 30.

Was a dual carriageway though.

The same mate got a 2 week ban for doing 118 on the A1.

The ban was quite weird, it totaly cleared off all his points off his license, but his premiums went sky high.

Ohh one other thing, someone in court before us, went in, but didn't come back out!!!!
