It rained on every single bike lesson I had, I never road in the dry on a geared bike whilst I was learning. Stopping distances etc are increased for emergency stops so you'll be fine. You DO know how to ride in the wet surely Wink

Yeah I've ridden in the wet, but it is absolutely pissing down, I kid you not. Confused

I have visions of me passing the instructor in a blur whilst trying to do an emergency stop. Wink

My test got cancelled due to high winds. The examiner was coming from Newcastle or Edinburgh and wasn't allowed over the Forth Road bridge. Confused

That would be right, it's forever being restricted due to high winds.

It says on your test confirmation letter which adverse weather conditions will result in test cancellation, high winds, ice and snow if I remember correctly, not rain.

Rain's not necessarily a bad thing - the examiner may be more lenient and "let" you ride around at a slower pace.

Mine was about 30 minutes, but they're usually more like 45 minutes. I was the last test for my examiner that day and I think he wanted to get away a bit early Very Happy

the whole week I did my test it was raining, on the day of my test the examiner told me that two people had dropped the bikes on the test. Shocked

As said the test is 30 - 45 mins, it fly's by, just relax and ride for yourself! Dont speed and remeber the life savers.

And best of luck mate.
