Why does it really matter mate?

Don't depend on getting feedback on ebay and that way you won't get disappointed. I used to care up to a certain level but now with 285 or so, I couldn't give two hoots. It's just a silly number.

I does in many ways, the main one being that you can clearly see that every sale and purchase i've made has been dealt with appropriatly.

I sold a phone last week, the guy wanted it next day. I made the effort and sent it special delivery on the afternoon it sold.
I'm still waiting for the feedback, chances are I won't get it.

You'll not lose anything by not getting the feedback, so don't worry.

Use ebay for earning money and spending money. Not for a daft counter.

If you let little things like that piss you off, you won't live very long. Thumbs Up Karma

Say you didn't get it.

If he doesn't offer to refund, tell ebay you didn't receive it.

I hate eBay feedback in general. I wish it was anonymous until both parties had left feedback, the amount of times I have wanted to leave neutral or negative feedback because of delivery times are insane. However with the current system if you leave negative feedback chances are the other party will as well. Mad

Email the seller if he sent it recorded. If he didnt its his fault then you can claim back off of him.
Someone did this to me once and paypal took it from my account without asking Evil or Very Mad

Why's it his fault ? If it was sent by normal post then it may well have went missing. If the buyer is quite happy for it to be sent normal post then they take the risk that it might not turn up.

Ok not his fault if it went missing. But he is then liable to pay back the money to the buyer. Been there done that so many times now.
I always send recorded or proof at the very minimun

Thats the very reason why i only send items to customers by Royal mail special delivery, it arrives the next day and is insured!

If someone aks me me not to send by special delivery i tell them if you dont like the details of my item then dont bid!

Simple!

I once sold a harris exhaust bracket for £1, delivery was £15
The winning bidder said that it costs cheaper to send by first class and that he has checked the actual price from mine to his for special delivery and it was cheaper than i what i quoted.

I told him if you dont like the terms of my auction then why did you bid, im not changing anything those are the terms take it or leave it!

Turns out everyone else on ebay was selling the same thing starting the auction at £15 and charging £5 for delivery!

Killa your good i would not change the terms of my auction for anyone, there are plenty of sellers as well as buyers!

4 days isn't long, I've only just got round to bulk-feedback leaving today, I had 3 for sellers and one for a buyer to leave. Not everyone is at a PC 24/7.

I've had a few buyers who've never left feedback for me. It's a minor irritation, but no biggie.

Not worth getting your knickers in a twist over, and in my opinion, not worth starting another eBay-related thread over. Wink

That would be contract law.

Buyer doesn't form a contract with delivery company, sender does.
