I don't think there's been a thread for this yet, but I think I should make one.

Now usually I'm not one to go with the latest fad program from America just because everyone else likes it. But I caught an episode a few weeks ago on UK Gold and I thought as I wasn't currently occupied I may as well watch it. I was expected the same as Lost, pointless repetitive crap for an hour of my time, but it seems the only thing it has in common is the fact that it has breaks way too often.

I was pleasantly surprised, though I only caught the end of one of the episodes I felt I wanted to watch it, not alot of shows can keep my attention but this one seemingly can, I can't wait for the next episode and I refuse to find out what has happened on the net, which is strange because I usually do. It has tension, a good plot, great acting and twists all throughout, whilst still managing to show logic in every step, and seem like an actual prison, and actually makes you feel for the characters, whether it be like or dislike.

I recommend this to anyone and although it may seem like old news it may not be to some people and I just thought I would share my views and see if they are shared.

Started watching it on TV for 2 episodes then couldn't be bothered waiting so got them all of the net as soon as they became available.

Top quality show, favourite characters have to be teabag(hated him at first) and abruzzi.

I have been watching it aswell on UKTV Gold and think it is excellent. I am looking forward to watching the next episode and to seeing how the plot unfolds!

I also like lost though!

Zak, I also like T-Bag he has a certain va va voom about his character, he demands respect, I like him although he is a gay rapist, paedofile and murderer, he is a crafty git, but a very well developed character. Abruzzi didn't like being taken down by the fat guy, he likes to be the big dog and I think he is also a good character.

I think that they, combined make a good team. There is the negative chemistry going on and I like how the tension mounts up in the fact that L.J is alone and being chased by the secret service and can't seem to get away, and that they are virtually invincible, sort of a Matrix-Agent thing going on there. I think that with Lincoln and Scofield they have a good sort of bond and the fact that Scofield is a genius and seems to keep cool while Sucre sweats half his body mass is a good factor too.

I have started to aquire them off BitComet but if anyone would be so kind as to put them on a disc or something I will happily cover any costs incurred

It is brilliant I have the dvds. Such a well thought out programme from the start and the attention to detail is amazing.

Did you know it was originally only 13 episodes, it recieved such good ratings they had a 6 month gap while they filmed the other episodes.

Can't wait for season 2.

EDIT 6 seasons of OZ, good god, thought they ended it after 2.

Also watched pilot of Heroes... There's too much too see at the moment

Ive seen a couple of episodes on tv recently and want to start from the begining to pick it all up, seems pretty good though but then ive also seen a couple of lost episodes and want to start from episode one and watch em all

Adverts are way to often though, 1 or 2 i could live with but 4-5 is taking the piss.

The writers of lost clearly have no desire to progress the storyline and are happy to insert random bullshit just to keep things ticking over in the hope they can string it out for 100 seasons and buy their very own private islands.

The writers of prison break have the plot going along at a decent pace and you know that the end is actually in sight, which makes it an infinitely better show.

Ive only just been able to recive channel 5 on my tv in my room so i have just started watching it. Now i really like lost but i have to admit i think Prison Break is better.

Only started watching this a few days ago & it's bloody brilliant, definitely prefer it to Nip/Tuc & Lost. Very clever & the acting is great.
Favorite character has to be T Bag, even tho he's a rapist & murderer he has a certain charm.
Anyone have an idea of how many seasons there's going to be?

Yea, i was told there will be 3 seasons. Though im not too sure, i really hope it doesnt drag on! I have to say my favourite character would be t-bag! I wonder what will happen to tweener?
