Hi, i recently got hold of a replacement rear shock for my 01' NSR its a little bit tatty

can anyone offer any general advice for dismanteling a rear shock, i want to slide the spring off to give it a good clean and a paint, i also wana get the main body cleared up and check the strut.

does anyone have any advice? Confused

I have tried to get the two tension rings off the top of the shock and they are on tight, i have given them a good spray with WD40 but the buggers won't budge... (yes im using the correct wrench to try and remove the two rings) damn thing Evil or Very Mad lol

any help would be great Thumbs Up
