yellow indicators, legal in the UK?

Dunno if this is a really stupid question....
before fitting my undertray shizzle i decided to plug it into the PC first so i could work out what coloured wire does what.

led stop/tail lights are spot on,. BUT the indicators are Yellow.

I imported it from Florida, do they all have yellow indicators?

are they legal in the UK?

AFAIK as long as the indies aren't red and flash at a normal rate, they are ok.

not sure if its legal or not, I can see that they are quite yellow and not orange.
One thing i have noticed is when cars have these its often quite difficult to notice the indy's are on

Looking at the mot manual for bikes i'd say they are not road legal.

But it says see the information column which inturn says it just an advise...stupid typical mot manual.
I think you would have to be unlucky to get pulled for them. Amber, orange. not exactly worlds apart, not as if its flashing white.

they look like US lights, where the tail light IS the indicator light too, then they aren't legal in the UK afaik.

They do these type of tail lights for the VTR too and sadly they wont get through on an mot, we've had a couple of the forums not pass or have to be changed if i remmber correctly!

don't worry about the MOT, i've got another 11 months left before that.

PLUS, my MOT'er is cool, he said my can was too quiet, and my 2 x 5 plate was too large

The integrated lights as a whole are illegal from what I gather mate. They wouldn't pass an MOT according to this e-bay listing where I was going to get them for the Zee.

It describes them as being for show use only.

I've got the integrated light on my ZX6R. It had no problems with the MOT, the only thing the tester was worried about was the flash rate.
