I have a Bandit 600 s which I bought about two months ago. Since I bought it, I've noticed a slight dull tapping rhythm that I can feel through the handle bars. Its most noticable when I'm in a high gear and going slowly (slowing down at 35-40 in 5th or something). It feels like I'm going over those little rumble strips they put in front of junctions, but not as severe. I don't know what this is, but it doesn't seem to matter if the clutch is in or out, or what gear I'm in, I can still feel it. Think it might be sprockets or chain related, but any advice is very welcome.

Thanks!

Check the condition of the front tyre then the wheel bearings. Also check the front discs for warping.

I had a similar problem with my 2000 600s bandit, turned out to be the chain and sprockets, put it on the centre stand and slowly turn the rear wheel while moving the chain up and down, i guess you will find the chain tension changes a lot, a small difference is ok but to much and the chain is stretched or the sprockets are worn.
Another thing they are bad for is the carb balance making the engine run slightly rough, you don't always notice it till they are re-balanced and then you find out how bad it was.
