Very Happy Thumbs Up

Webbs have the FJR running.. not sure what it was, but suspect a loose connection, as some wire wiggling resolved it.

Only fly in the proverbial is that someone's obviously has the lhs engine casing off at some point, as when they started it, it pished oil all over the floor where the gasket had been folded.

A new gasket is on order, and will be fitted on Tuesday/Wednesday when it arrives, along with a new airfilter.

I don't mind waiting another week, now that I can see light at the end of the tunnel

Dance!

no.. this is the one that had a manufacturing fault with a weld in the gearbox, and which was admitted as such to me opn the phone by a yamaha rep, but which they have had nothing to do with in terms of help or responsibility.

check out my post about it in Workshop

I wondered if there's any other FJR's gear trouble and searched on google in english and jap but couldn't find any.
It was very lucky that gear trouble didn't lead to an accident, and it's nice that your FJR got repaired.

That'll be WTD's ninja 750.

Why wouldn't yamaha accept responsibility? scumbags! A manufacturing fault is surely the responsibility of the manufacturer and nobody else!

Glad it's running, though Thumbs Up
