i have just had my fzr400 restricted. it was running fine when i sent it in but when i got it back there was alot less power, which i thought would happen, and then it just concked out.

after this i tryed to restart it, no luck. i put on full choke and held throttle fully open. it finally started but with throttlefully open, 1500rpm, not going any higher. when i shut the throttle it cut out.

i have tried petrol tap on and off and i do have enough in. checked all spark plugs are pushed in aswell. anyone have any ideas on what it may be. im taking it back to the shop that did it, i dont want to look a fool if its only minor.

thanks karl. Confused

spark plugs are very unlikelly to just break, they tend to degrade over a period of time!

As its just back from the garage i would bet money on the fact its something theyve done!

Check all pipe work (take the tank off if need be). Also remmber to check the breather pipes!

Could also be that one of the restrictors isnt correctly fitted if its one of those airbox types!

If it runs as you said then im recconing its one of the two above as they sound like the right symptoms!
