Hi,

I'm off overseas for this week, i'll only be out of the country 12 hours.

I would ideally like to travel by bike, because of the road works near the airport and also because it took my boss nearly 2 hours to get there last week.

I know where I can put my bike in that little area, between terminal 1 & 2.

But what i'm looking for is somewhere for my helmet/boots/pants. I don't really want to carry a helmet with me.

Does anyone know if there's a place where I can do such a thing, i'm not worried about cost as it will be paid by expenses.

Thank you

Cheers, that does look a good idea, but my flights before the time they open.

For once a scooter would be better than a bike. At least I could lock the lid in it.

If on expenses then go night before and park up. Stay over in one of the hotels/motels around the airport. They should have courtesy bus to get you to your terminal in the morning. Saves you getting up extra early too for travelling.

Also if on expenses why risk parking when you get a bit more security for £2 a day. See this link.

HTH Thumbs Up

Hi,

I don't live too far from the airport, normaly only 40 mins by car.

Its the rush hour thing.

The premier place does sound a good idea, (£2 a day is nothing), the problem with it, is the simple question can I leave my lid/back protector there.

I don't want to have to check in any luggage.

I've tried the phone number, but no response. I'm going to try and send an email.

No I phoned them.

Premier parking only charge £2 a day, but there is no provision for helmet storage.

Looks like I'm in the car. Bugger

P****d off about it, I got an airport taxi there recently and it took over 2 hours for a journey of 40 miles.

Why can't airports etc, provide.

I don't want to be lugging my helmet overseas, nor do I want to attach it to my bike. Which is the only option, I could bring my bike cover, put helmet through the chain. and then cover with bike cover.

F**k it, I might have to do that.

Maybe ok if in the £2/day premier parking bit, otherwise IMO would just shout 'look at me, I'm going to be here for a while'.

So, let's hear it for a top box Thumbs Up

Yeah, I'd never thought I'd say it, but a top box would be useful.
