Guys, I need some help on picking a laptop for my sister.
In brief she is moving out after having a fall out with the rents, lol, and she works from home.
She can’t their computer, and her place is going to be small, so she needs a laptop.
She translates from Italian to English and visa versa for a company over seas.
She uses various media, PDF, Word Docs, Jpegs…..every day things really.
The storage would have to be pretty good, but I’m guessing for her, office type work, she wont needs Gigs of power.
Her budget is £300, but really she’d like to spend less.
I’ve seen this laptop, and from what I can see, it seems legit and could probably do her well.

£300 isn't a bad price, but for about £70 more you could get a new laptop from Dell... www.dell.com/uk
Your second laptop only really offers a bigger hard drive (60- instead of 30 GB) and built-in WiFi
Hope this helps..

I reckon you could build one yourself or herself...
its relatively cheaper and gives her time to get some more funds!
(now i realise she works from home on it im beginning to regret writing this but im going to carry on for queen and country)
then you could just buy large storage and keep the other parts cheapo ____________________ 08/11/2007 A2 Passed.

surely you must be able to buy parts for a laptop just the same as you can a desktop non?
Maybe it was my silly head making it up again!
