I can only imagine how f**cking annoying it must be to have some bloke hammering up and down the road outside your house on a scooter while pulling wheelies. Shocked

5 minutes or 5 hours. It only takes a split second to KILL a child walking out from behind one of those cars. spend your time and energy on some proper kit and learning some proper riding skills that could saveyour life and someone else's.

You don't need to pull wheelies in a residential street to have fun or have a laugh, IF you do then you are not the kind of person the biking community wants or needs. Could you really live with yourself if a so could irrisponsible child ran out from behind a parked car and killed them. Beggars the question who is responsible. Like to see you argue your case for having a laugh to the mother of the dead child.

Perhaps maybe mothers should be teaching their kids not to run out in front of vehicles in the first place, nevermind those vechicles standing up on one wheel?

Personally, I mostly try and keep my stunting to fairly 'reasonable' place, but it would take slightly longer to put the front wheel down.
Quite possibly still a lot shorter time to stop than if he was driving in an old car or worse, say an old van or truck - so it could be seen that he was actually doing the stupid kids a favour by doing wheelies on his ped as opposed to driving some of the other vehciles he could have been.

Had it been a finishing at 100mph 2nd gear sports bike wheelie, the argument might hold more merit to me.

Do you ride a vehicle that you can be sure will stop in the quickest possible time blu? Including in the wet? Or have you made some other sacrifices on this account? I'm just suggesting it's, as ever, not a case of right and wrong, but a case of where you place the line.

I agree with G here, kids on my street always run about, one parent said to me i need to watch out for her son running in the road, to wich i replyed, "keep control of your child and dont let him play on the public highway"
And walked in my house.

Blu, as for you.. lighten up, he knows its wrong, but im sure most have done it.

i keep my front wheel down most of the time, but soon as i hit a 60 zone it tends to come up Wink

some okay wheelies for what it is, get practising them on some nice long "private roads"

other than that, good work.
