Are an interesting alternative to the regular tripod,

anyone recommend me a 'regular' tripod?

Not sure what the advantage of one is though, a regular tripod will stand flat on almost any surface. Suppose the above could be ok if they've got good joints.

you oculd wrap it around your mirror stalk on your bike and you instantly have a tallish tripod while out on the bike?

looks like a good idea, can put it just about anywhere and hopefully not much vibration because of the rubber bits Thumbs Up
