This was mentioned last week. For those of us without Sky/Cable we've been stuffed by BBC who have dropped the event and topup tv that insist on using their PVR and only show a few hours of Eurosprt per day anyway.

Whilst browsing the official site I came across this:

https://www.worldsbk.tv/

Basically, you can watch the highlights for free (28 minutes from last weeks races) and can pay £2.99 to watch the full race, both live and archived, or £24.99 for the full season. Think I'm going to pay 2.99 for the Australian one tomorrow to see if the live quality is as good, and then get the full season pass.

Just thought it might be useful to some of you.

Download SopCast and watch it over your broadband connection. ESPN are showing World SuperBikes (atleast they advertise they are). Also good for anyone without Sky who enjoys a bit of premiership footy. Smile

Race 1

1st Troy Bayliss
2nd James Toseland
3rd Max Biaggi

Jt got a poor start put powered through to lead at the end of the first lap, then controlled it from the front until latter end of the race when Bayliss powered through at the cost of Toselands wore out tyre. The cameras showed the tyres they were knarled to bits.

Ready for race 2 at 07:00 Smile

Funny, I thought it was customary to put 'spoiler' in a thread where there might be information you didn't want to know. And yes, I know GixaJane didn't start the thread and therefore wasn't in a position to write 'Spoiler' in the thread title. But surely anyone with any sense wouldn't post results of a race in a thread whose title gives no idea that there might be results in it?????

How the hell are you going to know if this is a thread with results in it until you read it?

Maybe with your obvious psychic ability McGee it's possible for you, but for the rest of us mere mortals it's not so easy.

Don't be a tit of something as stupid as results to a fucking race.

It's not the end of the world now is it.

https://www.sopcast.com/

There are several different pieces of software you can use to access TV streams across the web. Sopcast seems to be the most user friendly if you just happen to only read english rather than chinese, korean etc. Saves paying for Sky Sports! Very Happy

Install the software, run it and it will automatically find available streams. It even lists sports, news etc channels separately. TV Ants is another piece of software that is pretty easy to use.

Anyway am replying a bit late for this round of WSB. Check out the website it explains everything.

Might have been better to start a new thread with 'spoiler' in the title rather than spoil the enjoyment of those who haven't had a chance to watch it yet if you were keen to discuss the merits of the racing IMO.
