Anyone got any experience of using these things?

I want to put some letters on the back of a hoody but obviously don't want them to come off in the first wash.

Are there any alternatives?

Cheers all.

ive seen in easons, and some other book/stationary shops iron on paper. you put it in your printer, print whatever you want using just normal ink, then iron it onto your material. not the most professional finish, but looks good all the same.

Usually in those big indoor market things that you get in big cities and towns there is a printing stall. I got a shirt done at a stall at coventry market and it was brilliant, got the shirt and lots of printing done for only £12 and the letters are still in tact.

I have no experience with printing my own though, I think i'd muck it up!

the stuff you use from your own printer is crap, it will fade quickly and after 2 washes be ruined!

If your after a good print that will last the time then pay somebody to thermal it!

It does fade but if you are going to use it make sure that you read the instructions ie make sure that you print back to frount (if it needs it) or you waste expensive paper Confused
