Another fitness related post sorry Laughing

Generally I don't believe in weight loss/metab. supplements, I don't expect a magic pill or anything, but do supplements such as this and similar, if used with a regular exercise routine will they have any positive affect worth the cost price of buying them?

I don't expect to take them and do no exercise and lose loads of weight.. I joined a gym recently and go fairly often, as well as motocross and cycling etc so I'm more active and I'm definetly getting fitter, but not really seeing any physical difference yet.. just wanted to know if this or similar supplements ARE worth taking along with a training routine.

It's good that I'm starting to see some fitness benifits but I really want to tone up quick as well.

I bought the maximuscle version a couple of years ago, they were massive pills. But I had to stop taking them because they made me do the biggest farts ever! Shocked
They probably do raise metabolism.

Cheers for the info people.. I spoke to one of the instructors at my gym today and he said they aren't really worth the money! He's given me some good advice which I aim to follow, like 3xweetabix for brekkie as I don't normally eat breakfast.. and has told me ive got to cut the fizzy drinks!! which I've managed to do so far (only been a day tho haha) so I'm going to keep this up for as long as possible and hopefully it'll make a difference.. the fizzy drink one definetly will as I was drinking far to much per day Embarassed

One other thing I want to know..

I do a lot of cardio, and some weights (low weight high reps for toning) but I don't do any sit ups/squats and so on.. should I be doing these and other ab exercises? or do I need to just stick with cardio to burn the fat off then do the exercises when I'm slimmer?

Speak to the gym, book an appointment if you have to, and get a personalised fitness plan agreed to meet your requirements and they will set you targets and deadlines.

My gym has a 3day plan for me, 1 for upper chest (Shoulders, Pecks, Back, Triceps) Another day for Legs, and another day for abs and biceps.

They also wrote me a diet to follow as close as possible, and it so far is working. I'm currently 14stone, soon to be 16 within a few months as im currently getting in shape for one of the gyms bodybuilding competitions.

Hope that helps,

Perry
