Is that girl on the right wearing odd boots? Laughing I think she hasn't realised she needs to put the leathers over her yellow socks, not the other way round

..must be Rossis. He has to put a bit of his design flair input into the colours aswell i guess...he also apparently helped design those awful sunglasses he wears aswell Sick

thats what Rossi is wearing this year, and his boots still have the hair on them too - AND ITS FROM A HORSE

You’ve got to hand it to Rossi, he’s finding more and more ways to be wacky and different.

Now he's wearing boots covered in horse hair.

MCN’s GP Reporter Matt Birt spotted the mad footwear as Rossi went out on the new 800cc Yamaha M1.

We spoke to Dainese to find exactly why he chose the boots.

David Dew explains: "During the last photo shoot at the Dainese Corporate AD campaign, where Valentino was the star, he saw the new model of ladies boots from the 2007 Winter Collection, the Yoyo Lady white in "cavallino" leather (horse) and he liked them a lot.

"He asked Dainese to make him a pair for the first winter test in Sepang. The original model of the moto boots is the Valentino Replica and, as usual, he asked for a pair of black and white boots.

"The boots are not on sale at the moment but in the future Dainese may think about production, but the Yoyo lady will be available with the new ski & snowboard collection."

Fancy a set of horse hair boots?

I highly doubt many people rushing to dream machine to get their R1 /R6's painted in that colour. It looks a bit yuckky Sick . Red would have been nice for a fiat sponsored bike, after all Red is the colour of Yamaha's WSB efforts. The yellow speedblock looked nice, so typically yamaha

Cool Love that paint, the 'FIAT' logo sets it off well. Fiat from the 80's / 90's had a bad rep but FIAT of old had a good racing pedigree.

I think we will be seeing more of this chap on the top rung in 2007 than in any other season.

Love it love it love it. Cool Thumbs Up

Not to my taste tbh, last years bike looked amazing and it was easy to spot Rossi/Edwards in the pack.

To me that bike doesn't stand out as much as the past few bikes have. When I went to Donny in 2005 he was on the gauloises bike and he was easy to spot. I have a feeling this will blend in a bit.

Doesn't matter anyway, Pedrosa FTW.
