90% of those on here wouldn't even know that the "I'm dead" part actually meant anything anyway.

I havn't seen him on TV for years though, it's amazing how some tv people stick in your head after so long.

Maybe it's just me, but I always thought he was a talentless poof with a cringeworthy "catchphrase". I wouldn't go so far as to say good riddance, but I will allow myself a hearty "Meh." at his passing.

Wasn't going to be as harsh, but pretty much the same sentiment.

I hated Are You Being Served? and I thought it was the worst kind of formulaic pap that they roll out on UK gold as a 'classic'.

There is much better TV from that era, and John Inman wasn't even the best one on a completely dire show.
