Well, that's how the day started,

But me an Liqourice (Matt) off here decided to leave campus after they tried doing me for doing 30 in a campus whilst overtaking a stationary bus when clear - doing it in first rolling on probably gave them the impression of speed, so we decided to leave uni for the day.

So we went to "the hill" around the back of Woodhouse Eaves and took some shots

Some vanity shots of myself

Same again

Some action shots somewhere between Markfield, Antsey and Shepshed

Well, i'm gradually gaining confidence on the bike and realise the amout of counter-steering required to turn the bike and generally have good feedback from the tyres and sharp brakes. More will come in due course and will probably more spectacular.

Special thanks to Matt (Liquorice) for the photos and his time, although both of us had free periods between lectures anyways.

I've got that sorted, going to order R&G's for my bike and getting twiggers to fit them - i REALLY do NOT trust myself with Drills + Plastic + Random bolts which i'd probably shear (i don't know why but i'm rather incompetent).

Just out of interest, Matt disagrees with me getting a black double bubble? Do you agree? Wind-noise is a right cunt on it!

Double bubbles look uttery hideous in all honesty Sick but then again, if wind noise is major, it'll likely improve the comfort factor in that respect immensely. But eugh Laughing

See now i dissagree, on some bikes they look right. If you look at mine up there the double makes it look better because the shape of the nose suits it, whereas Titz's has a different shape nose fairing and I just can't see it looking right.

F3's Rock.

What top end do you get on it?
Where are the checkered stickers?

Top end i've tried is 140 side by side against a Ford GT mustang this evening down the M1, i backed off because i got paranoid about the approaching slip-road, because there's often cops and straight after that was the "compulsory 40mph limit" Cool for 10 miles so i'da gotten shagged if i didn't turn off onto the M25. I've had 130-145 out of it several times when hooning about with Liquorice.

Checkered stickers aint there at the bottom because the fairings were repaired by the owner at some point - evidence of platic welding. It would have looked nice to complete the look.

I eventually bought a screen from Hein Gericke - 50 quid delivered, Skidmarx tinted double bubble. It may look gash to some people, but i saw it in the pictures and it aint as sharp as other screens. In short, it'll make long journeys comfortable because my neck keeps getting pounded at speed.

New screen would look good.

How much more does it have left in it mate?
My dad's feels a whole lot faster than that.

Sucks about the fairings mate. My dad's one was bought scratched up, but still looks good.
They seem really rare too?

How does the 250 compare?
I need something smaller than a 600...

The 250 was a toy compared to this. You needed to thrash it everywhere. I was basically riding at 110% keeping up with liquorice on most ride outs. I'd match or beat him in corners, but lose out big time on the straights. For a hooning, weekend toy it's fun, but doesn't have the flexibility required. The top gear roll on is a quite punchy on this, seems to have a lot of midrange. I reckon i can have up to 155-160 indicated on this bike, but i'm not chancing it because i'm running the tyre with slime.

You don't need anything smaller than a 600, nor do you need anything larger. Thumbs Up
