I was the one selling.... So I have everything except the bit that he has to have as a receipt.

They don't know what his signature looks like. The purpose of the V5 is more so the DVLA know what's going on.

My girlfriend's mum signed a V5 in her name at a car dealer the other day, and I've done it with at least 3 bikes.

Don't worry about it, I signed my brothers bike's v5 in his name cos he didn't have time to get it, just went along, said my brother sent me, signed it(in his name) and took bike. AFAIK, the DVLA don't have your signature and I don't think they keep the sample you send in for your license.

Same happened when I sold my GY125 Embarassed

I just sent it in anyway....There wasn't any problems, I think it happens a lot.
