I know this is probably a easy question but, I forgot to ask in my CBT, are motorbikes allowed in the bus lane?

Only if specified in the signs for the Bus lanes.
In most places, no. However around Reading for instance we can actually use the majority of bus lanes.

Depending on where you're going, there's one or two places where it's very useful as it's one way apart from bikes and buses.

Well I'll keep an eye on the signs, I don't tend to in oxford as its all bus only lanes, so theres not really a point Wink

Is this a silly question then, if its a picture of what looks like a cycle painted on the road, is that push bikes only?

Yes, and despite what your tax disc says, yours is not a bicycle. I'd also avoid those little lanes you sometimes see that are marked just for bicycles, as well as the bicycle box at junctions, as a copper in a bad mood just might relieve you of £60 for driving/stopping in a bicycle lane/box.

It's not dumb mate, many bikers don't know the bus lane rules.
