How the hell did that happen?

Some people might remember me slagging off AGV lids on occasions in the past, based on my experience of one falling apart on me, and saying I'd never buy another one.

Well after several bike shops, several hours of trying on lids, several long-suffering bike shop assistants, guess what I ended up with?

Yep, an AGV Airtech:

Out of all the ones I tried, it was the best fit, the most comfortable and the only yellow one I tried. Which should have sent the ol' spider-sense tingling because I was looking for a black one.

Still, it's much lighter and quieter than my old Cromwell and has one of those nice "for display purposes only" visors.

The only downside is that my foggy velcro patch won't stay glued to the inside...

i had the same problem with my foggy mask in my shoei, had to resort to superglue.
