Saw this at local bike meet (Boxhill) today.
Spoke to the bloke and it does 0-60 in 2.8 seconds.
Decided I wouldnt try to race it out of the carpark !

If it is they raced one around the top gear test track, with Nial McKenzie on a CBR600rr and it won.

The cibber was not being ridden to its max either by any means.

Trying or not, it was 4 seconds behind, I seem to recall, on a track not best suited to bikes. Check out the Topgear site to see how a CBR6's 1:24 compaires to other cars....

I dunno, if you watch the vid, the rider was a good 6 inches from knee down at times. Just looked like he wasn't giving it everything.

Granted the Atom is /stonkingly/ quick. But I don't think the test was realistic. And I am not one of these people who will point blank fail to believe a car can be quicker than a bike.
