Hello

Just spotted this on the BBC news website -

https://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/6439437.stm

Any idea what they were filming - seems like an odd place to crash on the bridge!

Cheers

Dave

It is understood the filming, involving a number of motorbikes, was for an insurance company advertisement.

This was the second stage of the filming that we decided not to stick around for because it was too cold and windy and we'd already been sat on our bikes in the field for 4 hours! Shocked

As I think I said in my other thread the ad when it has all been edited will start off as one lone biker riding in Wales, and he will gradually be joined by others in various Welsh locations (they mentioned the Menai Bridge and the Conway Tunnels to us) until eventually when he stops there will be thousands of bikers all in the same place stopping and greeting each other. We were filmed for the last shot of thousands of bikers. They were getting ready to ride out to Menai for the next bit of filming when we left.

Wonder if they'll keep the crash in the ad......... Confused

If they were being paid for doing it they may well be in violation of their terms and conditions and as the road was closed they may be judged to be not on a public road.
They may well be fucked insurance wise, ironic!

No payment, just a refund of expenses for the "invited" filmees.

We all had to sign a fairly strict contract confirming that we took part at our own risk as well.

It wasn't a prerequisite of going that you were insured with Bennetts, my mate (who was an "invitee", I was just a hanger on lol) is insured with ebike.

I would presume they would agree to settle it privately, stops all the insurance jargon, but whilst advertising for an insurance company!, what a b1tch Laughing
