Sadly the bike sold for 151 beer tokens. 30 of them are for ebay fees..grr

so for 120 large vodka tokens. ohh well. no money in this game..lol

onwards and upwards now on the look out for another 125 to rebuild. or maybe an old CB200. love an Yam XS250/400/superdream. Even then nice honda 500 touring. around the 80`s era. Dont really want a 2 strokers.. 4 bangers are much better.

120 beer tokens to the bike scrappys.

let you know how i get on..

till the next time...... chaaoow all....

Thats a real shame you had to get rid of it. Looks like you did a hell of a job Thumbs Up

I read your ebay listing and you said you had the frame blasted then painted. How much did it cost and where did you have it done? Did you paint the tank yourself too?

Cheers.

that really is a shame to sell it on for such a low price. Did you not contact any classic bike or more specifically classic honda clubs? They're not classics compared to the nortons and vincents of the world, but im sure there would be a biker out there somewhere wishing to rekindle their youth who would have paid a bit more.

Bloody hell, glad you've reposted the pics, or I'd have missed out. Love these little bikes, nearly bought one. That's an amazing job you've done of it. The bug is pretty awsome too, pimp colour Laughing

Good luck with the DT.

Inspiring job on the 125. Must have been a bad day on eBay. I would say it had to be worth £250 of any 17 year old’s money. I would have put it up for £300 ono . You may have had to wait a bit but I think it would have gone.

Next time Thumbs Up
