Started my DAS last Sunday, all was going well until yesterday afternoon when during my u-turn I managed to do something which basically aggravated an old injury and threw my shoulder into spasm which in turn lead to my neck aching. Upshot being my day was cut short with the view to having some extra training on Wednesday and my morning test on Thursday.

However, this incident has kinda taken the wind from my sales and has made me rethink my plans with regards to biking, if I pass on Thursday I might just get a 125cc and stick with it otherwise I'll just sit it out.

So if I don't check back I'd just like to say thanks to everyone on here, great site and ride safe.

Dont lose heart........if you really want to ride, then get help with your shoulder problem. Get an appointment with your doctor, and get sorted ready for your test.

Well I had Tuesday off, did some intensive 1 on 1 yesterday and was all set for my test this morning, however this morning on a practice u-turn I had a mad moment, panicked and ended up dropping the bike and sending a huge stab of pain into my shoulder. So I've had to cancel my test and look to doing it again sometime in the future should I get the all clear from my physio.

But on the a positive note at least when I dropped the bike I found the kill switch easily and operated it!

Tip with u turn:

Its true here.... aslong as the bike is moving it wont fall over... when doing your u turn, dont lean the bike and do it very slowly. My dad was worried about doing his u turn and cracked it first time. Just dont panic, when doing your u turn you think your going to drop the bike (its normall and your mind tells you to put your foot down ) Don't. Aslong as your moving the bike wont tip over.
