I don't think that the CBR seats are quick-release, are they? I think that they're actually bolted onto the subframe, so you'll need to remove the seat fairing panels in order to get the seat off.

on ur seat unit u mean?? it dont Sad. sucks but u can get some solanoids that go inplace of the seat bolts so u can press a button and release the seat but alot of effort.

if u want to ttake the seat off normally u have to take side pannels off

It is strange for an "all-purpose" bike like the CBR to lack something as simple as underseat storage though, especially since both the CBR400 and Fireblade have copious amounts of boot space by today's standards.
