Random kit review - hand pump pressure sprayer

I live in a terraced house, with no hose and no outside tap. Even if I could get a hose out the house, I can't always park outside my house.


My bike was in desperate need of cleaning, and I love gadgets so I picked up one of these

It's a garden sprayer, but I thought it would be worth a try to see if it would to wash off the worst of the road muck.

Pro's
- Shifts road dust & I thing it would shift fresh road salt as well
- Useful for getting to underneath the bike
- Better than a bucket and sponge for fiddly areas
- 7.5l is enough to spray the whole bike
- Useful for applying Muc-Off

Con's
- Nowhere near as good as a hose
- Not powerful enough to blast off dried on muck & gunge
- Annoying to have to pump up

Overall

If you can't get a hose to your bike, quite handy. Don't pay £35 for one from B&Q

Could you improvise maybe, and adapt a 12v car tyre inflater to pump the bottle up?

Often thought about one of these bottles, but the 'pumping it up' always puts me off!

Had one of these for ages - nice at hot festivals etc.

The pumping up isn't too much hassle if you use the thing jet.
