yeah really hope it gets sorted quickly, The bike is wrecked R&G took the impact or it would of been my leg it sort of bounced me of the van as it were and the shoei lid saved my head I head butted the van usual ache's and pain's 20-30mph impact speed I came of VERY well considering and who knows what next the gsxr thou has been the only bike after 6 month's I still loved with a passion. Thumbs Up

At least you're ok though, the bike can be replaced, a limb can but they're never as good as the old ones, what with them being wooden.

Exact same thing happened to me last Sept, idiot only lives round corner, keep seeing him riding round with a me shaped dent in the side of his van. Wrote my bike off, still having physio because of back and neck injury.

Get yourself off to Doc's for a check over (and get your injuries on your notes) I thought I was alright at first but ended up at A&E for suspected skull fracture and return of a detatched retina - was ok though.

As for not stopping in time - that's easy to say if it's never happened to you. For years I rode around thinking I'd foresee any accident - not true. My SMIDSY stopped to give way then pulled out right in front of me I had no chance of missing him.

Get well soon bud, keep taking the painkillers and rest up.

Cheer's people , the bike is being taken away tomorrow for estimation etc I think it will be written off , I should have a hire bike by Saturday I am already out of pocket by £300 for the recovery cost's of the bike, I will of course claim this back just aswell I have £300 spare isn't it Confused

Just hope it get's sorted quickly summer is nearly here Twisted Evil

Just an update I have got a hire bike well had a fazer thousand but just swapped it for a sv thou , no word on insurance yet which is rubbish , The gsxr is a write off and I have some pictures . Thumbs Up
