Ive always had gloss helmets - But thinking of it id rather have a matt one now.

Matt look lots better but are buggers to keep clean, any dead fles just make a grease spot and can be hard to remove.

I got a Shoei Raid II in Matt Black. Looks great.

I am worried about it getting scratched but no more than I would be if it was gloss.

My matt one was a lot harder to scratch than my gloss one. Didn't get stone chips either.
