The misses has just broke her rabbit i got her for valentines day (as shes gonna be at home in liverpool easter/summer etc).

Apparently most of it doesnt work, ill have a look and check its nothing too obvious

But what are your statutory rights vis a vis stuff classed as a health risk past original use lol

To my mind, stuff costing 50 quid shouldnt break on its 3rd use surely...

And if it does they'll still have to replace it at the very least, fit for purpose and all that crap.

I just remember a few people on here were owners of sex shops/legal bods. Just want to know where i stand.

I know contract law reasonably well... but this will technically be a 'health risk' thing... Dont want to end up on the back foot when i take it back.

Faulty workmanship blah blah, just take it back and see. Turn it on in front of them and show them the receipt.

You have the same rights as a consumer as if it was a toaster, so just take it back for a replacement. It has got to be "fit for the purpose" and also must have a 12 month guarentee. Remember to take the batteries out first though.

We've not broke ours and they're used in industrial circumstances

Give it a wipe with some Milton to remove any possible "lube" and reassure them (lie, if necessary) that it was only tested on the outside of the body, and insist that before it even got used "inside" it broke.

Basic contract law....you were sold something that obviously is not fit for purpose. Take it back, make your point clear....tell them you've never been so disgusted with a dildo in all your life. Make a scene. They'll replace it!
