Sunny day out with the lads

Considering i got mucho trashed last nite because it was my last friday nite as a teen, the sunny weather showed its face and my hangover suddenly disappeared.

Anyway's, the day went like this.

Met out outside the EHB in Lufbra uni - I was still unsure if i was safe to drive, but was adament that i didn't consume THAT much alcohol and that it all got evaporated in my sweat piss and shit.

We did "the circuit" which ran from our uni, along the A512 through Shepshed, past the old priory and through to Coleorton before making a right turn. This is the infamous "circuit". The stretch between the A512 to the A6 Hathern Crossroads involves plenty of twisties, some sharp and sudden, some over blind crests, some gradual and long. But had some fun with my mate on the SP1. Considering i had a pillion, i didn't want to THINK about chasing him (he gets stupidly quick and showed some very good lines).

Anyway, across the A6, onto the Remptsone/Melton road leads us onto long straights before going down the A46 and exiting at six hills and then onto Barrow.

And then carry on into the nether regions of Leicestershire into the Beacon Hill area where Liquorice (Matt) overtook some cars along the reservoir before his eagle eyes spotted an ice cream van. Most others will be looking for their braking points! Neutral

. Almost nearly losing the group cos he made a turn into the carpark. Bombed in and everybody was easily entertained with their Flake99.

The weather was turning and some of us wanted to watch the 6 Nations, so we decided to rag it down to the EHB via the back routes and that's where the ride ended.

That is an awesome picture! looks like you had a lot of fun, I've got a conditional offer from Loughborough University so if I decide to go there I might see you around, although at the moment I only have an Aprilia RS125... Laughing

Dont worry about only having a 125, if you come too Loughborough the join LSUMCC (Loughborough Students Union Motorcycle Club), 2 of the committee have 125's anyway!

i may also be goin to loughborough but aint applyin till next year by the time i hope to pass my das but im going down for an open day in about 2 weeks for an engineering course thing i'll print that ice cream picture out and see if i can identify u lot lol

Haha, that blue varadero decided to park up because he thought parking next to big bikes was cool lol - i think it belongs to the canteen staff or summat and didn't want to look out of place.

But if 125s were out with us, they probably wouldn't have kept up. We rarely dropped below 90mph. Even my old 250 would struggle to keep up on the dual carraigeways.

If your 125 does go pop, i know a good mechanic nearby tho Wink
