Ok,

Kev came around yesterday, he guessed the bike might have been an import because it had no mixture adjustment on the carb, and that maybe getting another was a good idea.

I phoned some breakers this morning and asked them to check if they had one with a mixture adjustment, and none did. I was told that the ar125s never actually had mixture adjustments.

Is it still a good idea for me to purchase another carb? (£40!!!!) Or should i leave it and be looking for something else?

Thanks for your advice:)

I'd still reccomend just getting it to a garage, or at least talking to one to see what sort of region they reckon you'll be looking at paying them and any other advice they can offer.
