edit.....actually the car cost 32K so 7K cleaning is no where near half, but, still Shocked

I've seen that chap on tv before going through that process on a £1m ferrari.
People do develop obsessions with cleaning thier car(and bikes). I know a bloke with a mk2 golf that is ridiculously clean. We recently found out from his girlfriend that he had 'shaved the carpets' to get rid of the bobbles. yes, shaved the carpets! with a Mac3 razor. I shit you not.

The seats look a lot better, but after polishing it all he still has all the gaps between bumpers and body work. If you're gonna go for a custom car finish got to fill them in and get a full respray.

My car scrubs up well, Its metal flake Peugeot Black. Only downside when I wash it now is you can see the key scratch down the drivers side.
