As far as i knew to run a bike in you just have to take it easy for the first 200 miles right?!
I googled the title of the thread and i found this website which is probably a repost can anyone reveal which one is factual?????

If you want a bike thats going to go bang after 3 thousand miles then go ahead.
Have you seen the crap that comes out with the oil after the first couple of oil changes on a new motor? I wouldnt want that circulating my expensive, precision built engine at 14000 rpm ____________________ TL1000s, KDX200 |

to be fair a lot of what he says makes sense. However i suspect they dont put it in manuals as it could go tits up. ____________________ China traffic/travel bike vid - When I make a sweeping statement, please add the word 'statistically' in to the sentence before you bitch...
